    All of our specialists have front-line emergency response experience with backgrounds in the military, fire and other response services. FERST are ready to deliver online courses, Nationally Recognised and Compliance training that exceed the Australian Standard requirements as corporate members of Fire Protection Australia (FPA).

This training session is compliant to Australian Standard 3745-2010 "planning for emergencies in facilities". This course is designed to ensure staff receive general information relating to emergency planning arrangements.

The content of this course is general in nature and provided to increase awareness of emergency arrangements in the workplace. 

As part of an organisations' annual training schedule, completion of this online training module should be followed up by a practical training session on your facilities fire detection, communication and indication equipment (FDCIE), building life safety systems, building specific procedures, and an emergency response exercise.  



This training session is compliant to Australian Standard 3745-2010 "planning for emergencies in facilities". This course is designed to ensure you, as a member of your organisations Emergency Control Organisation, can safely and effectively participate in emergency prevention, preparation, response and recovery activities.

As part of your formalised annual training schedule, completion of this online training module should be followed up by a practical training session on your facilities fire detection, communication and indication equipment (FDCIE), building life safety systems, building specific procedures, and an emergency response exercise.  



This training session is compliant to Australian Standard 3745-2010 "planning for emergencies in facilities". This course is designed to ensure Chief Wardens, Deputy Chief Wardens and Communication Officers can lead emergency prevention, preparation, response and recovery activities within their organisation. 

As part of your formalised annual training schedule, completion of this online training module should be followed up by a practical training session on your facilities fire detection, communication and indication equipment (FDCIE), building life safety systems, building specific procedures, and an emergency response exercise.  



This training session is compliant to Australian Standard 3745-2010 "planning for emergencies in facilities". 

When first-attack fire fighting is included in an organisation's emergency plan, and installed in a building, training must be conducted to ensure authorised personnel can safely and effectively deploy the equipment.

The training should include preparing for fire emergencies, responding to fire emergencies and evacuation procedures, classes of fire and respective equipment, safe operating procedures and post emergency activities. 

Completion of this course does not indicate you are authorised to deploy first attack fire fighting equipment within your organisation, further consultation with the Chief Warden must be obtained.
